Information

The Travelling Band
Pitched somewhere between the heartfelt UK Americana of London's Grand Drive and the dry, sardonic take on the genre of St. Albans' The Broken Family Band, Manchester's The Travelling Band formed in 2006 and made a minor ripple two years later with their debut album, Under the Pavement. A democratic approach to songwriting -- similar to that of their predecessors Teenage Fanclub. With their music receiving rave reviews from every critical corner, their growing fanbase swelled considerably after their music feature in Ian Dury rockumentary Sex & Drugs & Rock & RollPerforming at Hungry Pigeon on the back of rave reviews for their latest single Sundial, Band on the Wall is delighted to welcome this glorious Manchester band to its stage.
