Times: Beginners 6-7pm, Intermediate/ advanced 7-8pm

Easy to learn, fun to play, cheap to get started on and widely used in many styles from folk to classical; with a Hamonica you carry a world of music in your pocket. Dispel the myths, reveal the mysteries learn the fundamental techniques and some simple blues, country and folk tunes (with a bit of Beethoven thrown in). More advanced players will learn more complicated tunes and techniques (such as note-bending) and aspects of music theory.

This great new 10 week course is led by the renowned blues and Irish traditional harmonica virtuoso and teacher Mat Walklate. Mat plays and records with blues bands The Moochers and Depot and Irish traditional bands The Sturdy Beggars & Shannagh. His new album 'Cold in April' is out now.

This course is open to all ages and abilities and will be great fun. Family groups are welcome (1 adult and up to 2 children aged 9 or over). Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
