Following his stunning appearance in Band on the Wall's opening season with Mercury Music Prize nominees Polar Bear, internationally-acclaimed drummer Seb Roachford returns to disgrace the Band on the Wall stage as part of jazz punk outfit Acoustic Ladyland. By turn ferocious and frenetic with the capacity to pare the instrumentation down to a raw and mininimal level, Roachford's partners in crime in their stunning ack-ack aural assualt are band leader Pete Wareham (vocals, tenor & baritone sax), Chris Sharkey (guitar) and Ruth Goller (bass guitar). Destructive, brilliant and utterly, utterly thrilling.

Support is from no less than the great rising Manchester star Denis Jones who wowed Band on the Wall audiences back in January with an incredible performance featuring his unique glitch-rich songs and growling, guttural and mesmerising voice. Unmissable.
