Information
The Band on the Wall Jazz Improvisation Group make a welcome return to their old stomping ground under the direction of tenor legend Munch Manship.
After four years in the wilderness they are back where they belong.
To complement this we are pleased to present the first performance by participants in our first Tap Rhythm Project course at the Band on the Wall.
Accompanied by special guest artists the Michael Cretu Trio, dancers from beginners to pro take the stage. Join us as we go back to roots of tap dancing – improvisation with live music! Whether you want to dance, play or simply enjoy seeing tap danced with great jazz musicians, this is an event that everyone will enjoy.
We even have tap shoes that you can try out for free!
Children aged 8 and older are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
