A free event in the Picturehouse and in our new education space 1.

Now is your chance to get involved and have a go at two of Band on the Wall's brilliant new learning and Participation activities. Drumroots (part of our Global Grooves programme) and Jess Murray's Tap Rhythm Project want you to have a go yourselves and, if you want more, to enrol on one, or both of these short courses for beginners to advanced players.

Drum, sing and dance with Drumroots, leading exponenents of West African drum workshops specialising in the djembe tradition.

The Tap Rhythm Project is based on the principals of jazz improvisation, this dance activity appeals to all ages and abilities. All shoes are provided, just turn up and tap.
