The 8-piece Los Angeles-based Breakestra's sound is pure uncut funk and jazzy soul - played loud. Watching Breakestra live is a tour-de-force of funkdom — 8 funksters on stage getting loose, playing serious grooves. Think James Brown. Think Parliament. As the band's Dr Tackett says, “What are the first three letters of FUNK?”. Special guest DJs taking it on into the early hours.
