Hi Jonathan, Thanks for your comment regarding the noise levels at Lefties Soul Connection last weekend. We take such comments seriously so I've done a bit of investigating and this was due to Lefties own engineers manning the sound desk rather than our own. Apologies for this but it should not happen in future. Malcolm Duffin, Band on the Wall.

I dunno what was going on with the sound at this gig, but the PA was inaudible (even stood right in front of it) and all we could hear was a cacophony of monitors and backline, not much louder than everyone's talking. I asked the engineer and he said it was due to a venue volume limit of 97dBA, which was obviously being achieved mostly by crowd noise. I hope this was a technical or enforcement issue, rather than long term venue policy, else there isn't much point in coming to see any bands at BOTW, and the vast amount of public money spent on audio kit is wasted. I felt sorry for the band and their engineer, and we certainly left feeling really disappointed.

Well said Juliec. This is indeed an awsome line up. I can't wait. Lefties and Greyson will be doing a live session on Craig Charles' Funk and Soul Show on Sat Oct 3rd, and playing their new single, which I've heard, and it's amazing! They say the new tracks will be up the the Band's website some time next week. Here are links for those of you that haven't heard these giuys.
