Three schoolfriends from Leeds, with a shared love of the blues, went to study at Manchester University in the late 1970s and formed a band. Gags recorded one album "Death In Buzzards' Gulch", released in 1978 to positive reviews in the music press. Eschewing the chance to support George Thorogood and the Destroyers the band members graduated and moved into non-music related jobs. Keyboard player Brendan Gore and guitarist Gerry McLaughin reformed the band in the early 1980s...
